Before Sherry was part of the Salt Marsh Internal Medicine team, she was a patient. She experienced the warmth and bedside manner of Dr. Kinney’s practice firsthand, and it stayed with her. She knew she wanted to be part of what made it feel that way.

As a Medical Assistant, Sherry brings that patient perspective into everything she does. For her, knowing a patient means building a genuine connection and taking the time to understand what someone may be going through. That extra effort, she believes, is what makes people feel truly cared for rather than simply seen.

Outside the practice, her vision of a healthy life is personal and unhurried: doing the things she enjoys, being with her family, getting lost in a good book, and always leaving room to learn something new.
